There will be one more Lamborghini Huracan SuperTrofeo on the grid of the GT Cup Europe at Spa-Francorchamps, sporting a very appropriate livery with the colours of Belgian flag. It will be entered by French squad CMR, which will make a one-off first appearance in the series entering Belgian racer Rodrigue Gillion, who will be competing alone.
Based in Alès near Nîmes, CMR was founded in 2008 by Charls-Antoine and Sabine Bourachot and has been active in historic racing, rally, GT 4, the Ultimate Cup and the Lamborghini SuperTrofeo.
Rodrigue Gillion (41) is not new to the series as he has already competed in his home round in 2021. He has raced since in the 24 Hours Series, LM Michelin Cup, GT4 Europe, Belcar and Lamborghini SuperTrofeo.
