The SVC Lambo of the Privitelio family tops free practice in Monza

The final round of the GT Cup Europe in Monza started with a surprise in today’s free practice sessions held in sunny weather and perfect conditions. The Scuderia Villorba Corse Lamborghini Huracan was the fastest car on track, with Luciano Privitelio paired this weekend with his son Donovan. The Sant’Agata racer stopped the clock in 1.47.843 in the afternoon session, beating by 0s194 the fastest lap time of the morning, authored by the Burgers Motorsport by HWM Porsche of the Pro-Am leaders, Laura van den Hengel and Paul Meijer.

Championship leaders and virtual champions Luca Franca and Ian Rodriguez (FAEMS Team Porsche) were third fastest 0s478 behind, ahead their direct rivals Pietro Armanni-Ludovico Rongono (ZRS Motorsport Porsche, -0s708).

The other FAEMS car of Lodovico Laurini-Matteo Luvisi were fifth (-0s705) ahead of the PS Racing 911 of Andrea Galli-Daniele Cazzaniga (-0s768), followed by the debuting Halder Motorsport Porsche of Mike Halder-Rene Povlsen (-0s925) and Am leaders Leandro Martins-Dieter Svepes (LMR Motorsport Porsche, -0s971).

Cosimo Papi (Ebimotors) was the fastest in the Bronze test (1.50.234).
