Rain and wet track characterized Qualifying ahead of Race 2 this morning at the Hockenheimring. In these tricky conditions, Pietro Armanni, at the wheel of the ZRS Motorsport Porsche second in the overall standins, took the pole, posting a time of 1.53.308.
The Italian dominated the session but beat only narrowly ‘0s155) the Mertel Motorsport Ferrari of Simone Patrinicola.
In row 2 will start Luca Franca in the standings-leading FAEMS car (+0s305) and the first Pro-Am car, the Tsunami RT Porsche of Fabio Babini (+0s320).
In row 3, the Porsches of Gonçalo Fernandes (+0s438) and Dieter Svepes, fastest in Am (LMR, +0s733).
All the cars involved in the several incidents in yesterday’s race took part in the session, except for the Burgers Motorsport HWM Porsche.
